Membership in this organization automatically consists of all ladies who are registered members of St. Henry Parish. Our stated mission is to serve the needs of our Pastor, those of the church community, as well as the larger community within Nashville. Annual dues are only $10 and the funds collected are used to help defray costs of the many social and spiritual activities planned throughout the year. Thus, we are able to operate successfully without the need for any fundraisers. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the School Dining Hall. Many events occur at other times during the year and are always announced in the Sunday Bulletin. Volunteer efforts are extensive and quite varied, from updating the Church Roster, looking after the altar linens and vessels, to collecting clothing for the needy. Also included are celebrating our priests’ birthdays and anniversaries, as well as caring for the gardens surrounding the parish buildings. Regular visits are made to Bordeaux Hospital and several area nursing homes. Our "Angel Awards" gathering and luncheon, held each year during Advent, includes not only a special Christmas story, but also a lovely musical presentation by children from St. Henry School. The "Henrietta Dinner" and fashion show is put on during the Spring; finally, a DAY OF RECOLLECTION takes place on a Saturday during the Lenten Season, and includes a speaker with a topic for reflection, Mass in the Chapel, followed by a potluck meal to share together. We invite you to join in our fun by volunteering your time and talent. Working together, we can serve both God and neighbor.
