A New Approach to Time and Talent

Last week, St. Henry Church held its first Time and Talent Ministry Fair in a virtual format. The event was aimed at showcasing the various ministries of the church and encouraging parishioners to get involved. The church sent daily emails, beginning with a video message from Fr. Mark Beckman inviting everyone to explore various ministries. Each day, a new group of ministries were highlighted, and on Sunday, the event concluded with an in-person Social Action Volunteer Fair. During the Volunteer Fair, attendees had the opportunity to meet with Parish Member Coordinators and Representatives from the organizations supported by St. Henry Social Action Ministry. We are glad to report that the week-long event was a huge success, with many expressing interest in a new opportunity in the parish, and taking the first step toward making a difference in their community and the lives of others.
