ADVENT AT ST. HENRY

As the days grow shorter in various regions around the globe, we enter a time of reflection and waiting in preparation. This liturgical period is known as Advent, during which we eagerly look forward to the birth of Jesus. Additionally, it marks the beginning of the new liturgical year. Throughout Advent, we experience a renewed sense of hope and anticipation for the arrival of Jesus.

If you haven't experienced St. Henry's A Walk Through Bethlehem, be sure to save Sunday, December 14 on your calendar. Beginning outside the fellowship hall, this captivating event recreates Bethlehem during the time of Jesus' birth, featuring live animals, a census taker, and Roman soldiers. Visitors can sample food at the Bethlehem Inn, watch pottery being made, and enjoy children's activities. The experience culminates at a live Nativity scene with a choir singing in the Narthex. This is a cherished St. Henry tradition that you won't want to miss!

COAT DRIVE: Donate any new or gently used coats or jackets. There is a need for all sizes and weights of outerwear. This will benefit Room in the Inn, St. Vincent de Paul and other organizations. Thank you for helping!
