+ Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic ministers assist with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ under the forms of bread and wine during Mass. Eucharistic Ministers receive spiritual, theological and practical preparation and fulfill their role with knowledge and reverence. for more information, please contact Amy DeBusk at adebusk@sthenry.org.

+ Faith and Justice Ministry

The Faith and Justice Ministry seeks to inform and encourage our parishioners to act on justice issues in accordance with the documents compiled in “The Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church”. Catholic social teaching places the human person and society in relationship with the light of the Gospel. This group also collaborates with interfaith organizations that work for the greater Nashville community on issues aligned with Catholic teaching.

+ Funeral Support

Funeral support is available at either the visitation or funeral, assisting the funeral home and family members to set up the visitation, arranging photos or floral arrangements and help with other needs as they arise. They may also volunteer to help with food by setting up, serving and packing up leftovers at a reception for the family after the funeral. + Liturgical Support Ministry

Liturgical support volunteers help maintain the liturgical environment of the Church. Some duties include laundering the altar linens and altar server vestments, cleaning the chalices and plates, changing candles and holy water, and assisting with seasonal décor. + Ministers of the Word

Ministers of the Word proclaim the Word of God during Mass. They prepare by attending formation sessions and by individual prayer and planning. For more information, please contact Amy DeBusk at adebusk@sthenry.org.

+ Ministers to the Sick and Homebound

Ministers to the Sick and Homebound visit our parishioners in hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. They bring compassion, friendship, a caring heart, and the Eucharist. They pray with them keeping their connection to the Church community as they go on their journey.

+ Music Ministry

Music Ministry volunteers from the parish who lend their voices and musical talents to weekend Masses and other special liturgies. A love of all types of sacred music is the only requirement.

+ Ministers of Hospitality

Ministers of Hospitality greet members of the community as they arrive for Mass. They also collect the offertory gifts, assist with seating and communion, distribute the Sunday bulletins and tidy up after Mass. For more information, please contact Amy Debusk at adebusk@sthenry.org.

+ Prayer Support Group

Prayer Support Group is a large group of faithful men and women pray earnestly for each request received. Through this powerful prayer, healing has been granted. + Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry combines ritual, care and compassion with the love of knitting or crocheting. This ministry touches the lives of others by distributing shawls through various outreach ministries of our parish and community. It allows us to care for others in a straight-from-the-heart approach, while encircling our parish in an eternal shawl of peace, healing and compassion.
