Cursillo is an international movement of dynamic spiritual growth within the Church. Weekend retreats help develop an understanding of what it means to fully live a Christian life in your everyday situation, transforming your life through prayer and small Christian communities to fulfill God’s divine plan.
CURSILLO Fall 2023
There's a movement in the Diocese of Nashville that's intended to help Catholics develop an understanding of what it means to lead a fully Christian life. It's called Cursillo, and at its simplest, it's a three-day weekend at Camp Marymount in Fairview, TN. Cursillo focuses on building a deeper relationship with God and living out the call to Christian leadership. The weekend includes talks, group discussions, personal reflection time, along with the Holy Sacraments - all designed to help us grow in faith, discern our place in life and our role in the Church.
It's an adventure for adults to rediscover being Catholic and explore how we can bring our faith to daily life. Through sharing the Cursillow experience with Catholics from other parishes in the diocese it's also a great way to make true connections and expand your Catholic community. It's a spiritual refreshment for the soul.
